Amazing benefits of Rice water for Hair!

        Rice Water has many benefits for Hair and Skin. But today we are going to see about the Rice Water benefits for our Hair and How we can use that for Hair Growth.The anti-oxidizing, Moisturizing and healing properties of rice water will protect your hair from damage. It is said that the rice water therapy is the ancient beauty secret of Asian women. Also, it is pretty simple to make it in home. 
        There is a village called Huangluo in China. There, the average hair length of the women living there is 6 feet. The village women made it to the “Guinness Book of World Records “as “World’s Longest hair Village”. Also, the women don’t have grey hair till their late 80’s. The women in the village believes that the fermented rice water is the only secret for their long, dark, and clean hair. 
Benefits of Rice water:
        Rice contains nearly 70-80 percent of starch in it. It reduces the friction between your hair.The fermented rice water will give you the full effects which will enhance your hair growth. The fermented rice water is rich in antioxidants, minerals, Vitamins B and E.
        Fermentation lowers the pH level of the rice water which is similar to the pH level of you Hair. So, it helps to improve the overall condition of your hair and help your hair to grow stronger and longer. 
How to prepare Fermented Rice water? 
        This is a quick way to prepare the rice water is below. But to make it fermented, you should leave the rice water in room temperature for 2 days.
  • Take ½ cup of Rice(uncooked)
  • Rinse it and remove the impurities in the rice.
  • Soak the rice in 2-3 cup of water for 30 minutes.
  • Now, Strain the rice water into a clean bowl.
Fermented rice water has more benefits than the normal rice water. So, go for the Fermented rice water to rinse your hair.
How to use Fermented Rice water for Hair:
  • Take 1 cup of fermented rice water.
  • After shampooing your hair, pour the rice water on your hair.
  • Gently massage the scalp and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. 
  • You can use this pack twice or thrice per week for better results in a month. 
If you have curly hair you can leave the rice water for 15-30 minutes. If you have dry scalp, you should not use the rice water twice in a week as it may dry your scalp even more. So, if you want you can add aloevera gel or almond oil into it and apply on hair.
